We are looking out for Summer Interns for our Sales & Marketing department.

About us

Themis works with early stage companies and SMEs in handling certain functions, allowing promoters / CEOs to focus on their core competencies. We actually embed ourselves and act as a client's Accounting/CS team. Thereby making the need to hire or rely on expensive recruits redundant.

 

We currently work with over 300 clients in the e-commerce, education, food processing, consulting, healthcare, social, tech and retail spaces. And work for portfolio companies of Norwest Venture Partners, Warburg Pincus, Startup Village, Mumbai Angels, Seed Fund, Blume Ventures, etc.

Summer Intern- Business Development/ Sales

Location

Mumbai- Ghatkopar

Purpose of the role

Role involves with all aspects of client servicing and relation in view of generating business.

Duties & Responsibilities 

ü  Updating the database of the company. 

ü  Managing sales accounts, performing sales and pitching of our products and services.

ü  Liaising with new clients and suppliers.

ü  Business development. 

ü  Search for new market possibilities for the company and expand the Market base of the company. 

ü  Assisting in preparing Sales reports.

ü  Other general duties as required.

Skills Required

ü  Good time management and planning skills 

ü  Good interpersonal and presentation skills 

ü  Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential 

ü  Able to meet multiple project deadlines and demonstrate good attention to detail 

ü  Experience in communicating multi-culturally 

ü  Able to demonstrate an understanding of the needs of the customer.

ü  Able to work individually as well as part of a team 

ü  Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision

Educational Qualifications 

BMS/BMM/B.com / B.sc

Key Result Area

ü  Acquire necessary information

ü  Number of calls made

ü  Send a proposal

ü  Understanding current operations

ü  New systems and processes set

ü  Customized manual to be shared

ü  Data collected and Entries made

ü  MIS Reports generated

ü  Regular manager advisory meet

We are looking for a passionate, ambitious, and like-minded people to join us. Once selected, you will be involved in running the operations of the Company & be exposed to what it takes to run a high growth organization: 

 

Key Result Area:

ü  Generating business leads by out bound calling to the clients. 

ü  Cold Calling, Client Meetings, etc 

ü  Market Research/ Data profiling/ marketing inquiries for new growth opportunities. 

ü  Responsible for dealing and handling with Premium clients.

ü  Provide information and support to clients, as needed by them

ü  Services selection and follow up with clients

ü  Customer Relationship building & retention.

 

Job Specifications:

 

The ideal candidate will be an undergraduate or graduate in BMS/BMM, or similar degrees. Preferably who have a strong academic background in general and have excellent written and verbal communications skills. Previous sales or marketing experience will be a value advantage.
