Primetime was founded in the mid-80s with their first venture being inserting ads into video cassettes and is one of the oldest independent media sales companies in India. Primetime then ventured into television, marketing some of the biggest shows in Indian TV history like Mahabharat, Ramayan, Dekh by Dekh and Zabaan Sambalke on Doordarshan.

When Star TV first came to India, Primetime handled ad-sales for them.

Currently Primetime is involved in 3 Media verticals – TV (representing various channels exclusively in India for their international ad-sales), OOH (2 divisions here - the OOH specialist media agency, Prime Market Reach which was one of the first specialist OOH agencies in India launched in 2000 and the asset ownership business, Primetime-Hythro, where we run and operate about 200 sites in South and central Delhi) and finally Digital (Marmalade digital which provides innovative solutions in the digital space)

Trainee-

Position- Management Trainee- Sales

Experience- 0 – 1 year

Previous Qualification- Any Graduate (except the Engineering) and preferable having Marketing as their Specialisation

Sal Range- 20k – 30k

Job Role:

Primary Role

1. Develop clients & regions for the set of clients that PIS/ H2O represents

2. Achieve Sales & Collection targets assigned

3. In depth knowledge of product & clients

4. Strategy to Develop, Retain & Grow shares with each client.

5. Continuous competitor mapping by markets & categories.

6. Build relationship with clients, media buyers and ad agencies.

7. Ensure goals achieved on Willow / Food Food /Times Now /Zoom/ Glow/ Sony channels

8. Client Servicing and campaign monitoring

9. Daily and weekly sales reporting and CIS reporting

10. Develop / Identify new / relevant clients for the channels & increase customer base.

11. Identify and grow in new markets by targeting existing clients.

12. In conjunction with Accounts ensure that the bills are sent on time and follow-up with the clients for the payments.

13. Monitoring channel performance through reports and presenting it to clients on a regular basis.
