Freshers! Here’s your chance to be a part of an international travel publication.

The world’s premier magazine for the frequent corporate traveller — Business Traveller India is hiring an intern in its Editorial and Marketing department (each). We are looking for young individuals with the drive to learn and want to gain professional experience in the field of publishing.

About Business Traveller 

To briefly introduce the  same, Business Traveller was launched in the UK in 1976, and has since then become the leading magazine around the world for the frequent corporate traveler, with 13 worldwide editions in the UK, US, Asia-Pacific, Middle East, China, France, Germany, Denmark, Hungary, Africa, Russia and Poland. A consumer publication aimed at entertaining business travellers, saving them money and making their travelling life easier. 

Each edition is packed with editorial content on the latest news about airlines, airports, hotels, loyalty programmes, best buys at airports, seating availability of various airlines, car rental options, what to do in your free time when travelling and much more. It has, in a quick span of time become the most sought after magazine amongst the high-end business traveller. The purpose of my email is to connect with some of your students, who are looking to gain some quality experience in an international travel publication, by the means of an internship. We are looking to hire two students, one in our Editorial department and one in our Marketing department. 

This would definitely be a fun, empowering and dynamic work-experience for your students who see themselves in publishing. We are open to all students, this can also be on a part-time basis considering most of them are in college until 2pm

Below is the job description for an internship with Business Traveller India in the editorial department

Assist in handling the social media channels of the magazine
Assist the editors with research for upcoming features
Collect and organise information for the news and updates section of the magazine
Assist in pagination and coordination with the marketing department
Coordinate with clients and agencies for material 
Assist in content brainstorming and creative direction of the magazine
Updating the Business Traveller India website when it goes live (underway)

Assist in exploring leads for advertising and marketing for the magazine
Tap into brands and new segments for advertising sales
Create and develop strategies for tie-ups with brands 
Create costings and ad-sales plans for brands
Connect and follow up with clients to strengthen relationships
