Taxidio’s Vision and Mission

Conceptualized in May 2015 and founded in November 2015, Taxidio was conceived with the vision of simplifying travel experiences and moving beyond the confined borders that travelers experience in open World.

ü      Taxidio’s Vision – Sensible and simplified travel.

ü      Taxidio’s Mission – To bridge the gap between the plethora of information available and what is required, to simply travel experiences in a cost and time effective yet an unforgettable manner.

We at Taxidio wondered that – “What If” there was –

ü      A resource which would help us not only in selection of hotels and attractions but start from the basics of Destination selection.

ü      A resource which could be a one stop shop for all travel needs not limiting to just an airline review or a hotel review.

ü      A resource which could plan and advise best possible flight/train/bus/car etc. us as we are caught up in our daily chores.

ü      A resource which could help us to think beyond the usual.

ü      A resource which could not only plan but also store our travel itineraries online as well as offline.

ü      A resource which could guide and prepare us before we get lost in lands located thousands of miles away.

ü      A resource which could change the way we travel.

Not every predefined plan which is available on search engines can suit the need of an individual. This wonder world is what led us to be the “What If” resource to suit and feed every type of traveler across the globe.

Cofounders

a.        Vishal Kejariwal (Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer)

Vishal holds a Master’s degree in Business Management in Finance (majors in  Capital  Markets)  from  the  prestigious  Narsee  Monjee  Institute  of Management Studies, Mumbai India.  He also holds a degree in Computer Science from Mumbai University and has worked for a major Indian Conglomerate for over 5 years in Sectors such as Steel, Projects, Power, Ports, Shipping and Telecom.

Living with the principle of “I Don’t Love to Travel, I Live to Travel” and a passion for exploring the unexplored, Vishal has been travelling since the age of 14 and has never looked back. Having traveled over 25 countries and an urge to see more every passing day of his life Vishal heads Taxidio and is a co-founder of the organization.

b.        Abhas Desai (Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer)

Abhas has been associated with the IT field for more than 7 years and has a passion for integrating everyday human activities with technology.

Having done his Executive MBA from Somaiya Institute of Management Studies, he holds an Engineering degree in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai.

Amongst his hobbies, Abhas loves travelling, listening to music and reading books. He firmly believes that Mother Nature is the biggest gift to humankind. Abhas relates himself with the European countryside and is a co-founder, head of IT operations at Taxidio.

Job Profile

Job Title – Head Business Development (1 each for the following, total opening (7) - North America, South America, Europe West and South, Europe North and Central, East Europe and Russia, Asia, Oceania)

Key Attributes

ü      Managing and updating regional database.

ü      Business Development activities including meetings with respective Embassies.

ü      Open doors and lead exploratory discussions with potential partners.

ü      Ensuring delivery of partner plans.

ü      Developing marketing plans for assigned regions.

ü      Product development.

ü      Ensuring free flow of algorithmic processes.

ü      Communicate and collaborate with a broad range of constituents.

ü      Evaluate opportunities and present recommendations to the management team.

Remuneration: INR. 2.5 lakhs/annum with a cushion for scaling it upwards marginally on case to case basis.
