Producing newsworthy stories that are well researched, accurate, balanced, well-written and features appropriate sources
Keeping the brand ahead through innovative reporting, showing initiative and drive.
Making suggestions for ongoing improvement of all aspects of the content process
Ideating, proposing special story ideas and breaking exclusive stories on regular basis
Adequately attributing and identifying news sources
Ensuring that no spot stories are missed; being tenacious in following up stories from other media outlets
Suggesting opportunities for multi-platform coverage of content
Adhering to deadlines

Innovating with storytelling techniques & extracting the essence of the story from badly written copy
Suggesting such changes that strengthen HT's news coverage.
Producing error-free, well-structured copies
Giving engaging headlines, intros
Editing/packaging stories, features keeping the reader in mind
Using headlines, strap, promos, pointers effectively to hook and guide reader
Spotting gaps with respect to accuracy and balance

A written test (aptitude test) will be conducted at their office on 9th March, Wednesday at 3.00 p.m, post which the shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
