GoodVice - Internship

Fitness-tech startup "GoodVice".

GoodVice is essentially a mobile app based marketplace for fitness services providers. It aggregates all the fitness facilities in the city and provides customers a platform where they can explore fitness options, book their fitness sessions anywhere, anytime at unitized cost. It is a platform for fitness services to monetize the unsold inventory and bring in more foot-fall with the help of technology. Overall, it breaks down some key barriers causing slow growth of the industry i.e price point, variety and long-term financial commitment to gyms to create a win-win situation for consumers and business owners.

GoodVice as been recently funded and is now ready with the technological infrastructure. We are now planning to get the fitness facilities on board. We also need to plan a launch campaign and following marketing campaigns with adequate research and ideation to establish the product into the market.

We intend to hire a total of 15 students for an internship programme, for a duration of one month, starting from 15th of November till the 15th of December. The trainees hired for this would be compensated with a fair combination of stipend and incentives. We also intend to give Pre-Placement Offers to 2-3 students of Third Year, though the internship is open to both second and third year students. First year students may also apply.

Following is the breakup of the compensation.
Fixed pay: Rs.5000
Travel & telephone allowance: Rs. 1200
Variables: upto Rs. 6000
(Variables depend on how well the student performs in the given tasks)

The internship will involve business development, where students would meet the fitness facilities owners in the areas assigned to them and bring the facility on the platform. Apart from that, students will be involved in crafting out the marketing strategy, launch plan and marketing campaigns. They will be given some hands-on experience on planning and buying media on digital platforms.

It would be a great opportunity for marketing students to have a hands-on experience of getting involved in the process of building a tech startup from early-stage.

In case of any query, students can also get in touch with the co-founder Mr Jay Thadeshwar directly at +91.9768886779.
